Overview of Edmodo:
Edmodo brings students, teachers and parents into a single community were the Teachers, students and parent can communicate with each other. This guide will instruct you how to get a free Edmodo account and Edmodo student login steps. We will also explain how you can join an Edmodo group; you’ll also receive tips on troubleshooting. Follow the instructions below to sign up and sign into Edmodo.
Edmodo Student Sign Up:
Initially, Edmodo is free for everybody to use, but later registering on their official website is arbitrary to get started. You can use your Office 365 account or a Google account for this purpose, but it is recommended you to create a new Edmodo account first.
- Open your browser from a pc or mobile and go to www.edmodo.com.
- On the Edmodo homepage press the I’m a Student button
- If you prefer to sign up using Microsoft or Google account then select the Continue with Office 365/Continue with Google respectively.
- If you want to sign up directly then select Create New Edmodo Account option.
- Fill in your first and last name in the top two respective fields.
- Insert your Group Code in the field below the name fields, a 6 digit number obtained from your teacher.
- Then choose a Username
- You can provide your email id in the next field if you want, it’s optional.
- Enter your desired password for your account in the Password field.
- To complete your registration process click on the large green Sign Up For FREE button.
Edmodo Student Login:
Once your registration is complete, you can log into your account easily. We will show you how to login in through different interfaces such as Microsoft 365 or Google under this topic.
Edmodo Logging with Microsoft 365:
- Enter www.edmodo.com in the search bar of your browser.
- At the top right-hand corner of the homepage screen, find and click the red Login button.
- Select the Login with Office 365 option on the top right of the login page.
- In the first field of the redirected page enter your Office 365 email address.
- The second box is for your Office 365 password, type it in.
- Select the Keep me signed in option only if you are on a personal device.
- Click the Sign in option to Finish the login process
Logging in with Google:
- Enter www.edmodo.com in the search bar of your browser.
- At the top right-hand corner of the homepage screen, find and click the red Login button.
- This time choose the option Log in with Google option below the Office 365 login option.
- Enter your Google email address in the only field available in the redirected page.
- Press the blue Next button and enter your password in the next page to login
Edmodo Sign In Steps:
- Enter www.edmodo.com in the search bar of your browser.
- At the top right-hand corner of the homepage screen, find and click the red Login button.
- Type in your email/ Username in the very first field on the login page.
- Enter your password in the next field.
- Press the green Login button to finish.
Joining an Edmodo Group:
Students are not allowed to create groups; only teachers can inform students about the groups they use. Ask your teacher for the Group Code required to access an Edmodo group.
- Access the Edmodo homepage.
- Click on the Join a group button on the top right corner of the page.
- Enter the group code obtained from your teacher in the field.
- To enter a group click on the blue Join button.
Edmodo Account Password Reset:
You can regain access even if you can’t remember your username. You need to get in touch with your teacher for that. For password retrieval do follow the steps below.
- Visit the Edmodo login page at www.edmodo.com
- Press the blue Forgot password? link under the Login
- Enter your Email or Username in the provided field.
- Press next and follow the upcoming instructions.
